CASE: Karl Lagerfeld

As one of the world's most famous fashion designers, KARL LAGERFELD is known worldwide for his ambitious and progressive style. KARL LAGERFELD supplies a wide collection of clothing for men and women, accessories, bags, watches and glasses. In 2014, the collection was expanded with a fragrance line, and in 2015 the company launched its online women's flagship store through Karl.com. In the spring of 2016, the brand portfolio was expanded with a collection of children's clothing.

THE CHALLENGE

KARL LAGERFELD asked Graphit how the creative processes of its design studio could be supported with an improved infrastructure.

THE WORKOUT

Graphit has set up a central server environment on which the designers can work and easily share their files with each other. A new stable and easy to manage ICT environment has been created for this. For security and continuity, the data is synchronized to an external data center. The servers are managed remotely by Graphit. The workout consisted of:
  • analysis
  • implementation
  • management and maintenance

THE RESULTS

Higher ROI from marketing assets
Stable work processes
Secure data storage
Shortened creation and production cycles
Accelerate the time to market
