Casa is a retail chain with decorative and household items as well as household textiles and garden and interior furniture. More than 40 years of experience, more than 500 stores in 11 countries and a webshop with an extensive range make CASA International a leading player in its industry. A door-to-door folder is distributed weekly.

THE CHALLENGE

Casa has an internal design and photo studio that daily creates all promotional content for the website and for the door-to-door brochures. Given the large and ever-changing range, it was essential to set up an image bank, or a digital asset management system for managing and publishing all content for the website, the folders and for the Point of Sale material. In addition, it was important that the image bank would be integrated with the ERP system so that all product and image information could easily be processed in the folder and automatically published to the e-commerce site.

THE WORKOUT

Casa used Woodwing Assets as a digital asset management solution. Graphit offers the DAM platform from the cloud and provides management and support. Woodwing Assets is integrated with Casa's back office so that the studio can process product and image content particularly efficiently in the layout of the weekly folders. The images for the weekly campaigns are automatically published in batch to the e-commerce website. “The DAM system is a very essential part of our day-to-day design and publication processes,” says Casa. In addition, the Point of Sale material is automatically created with the EasyCatalog plug-in for Adobe InDesign.

THE RESULTS

Higher ROI from marketing assets
Savings on DTP production costs
Integration of data and files
Lower process costs
Multi-channel publication
Shortened creation and production cycles
