ARTIS is the oldest zoo in the Netherlands that has been in Amsterdam for many years. They bring nature close to people in an inventive way. Nature, culture and heritage come together in ARTIS. Every tree, every animal, every building, every microbe, every planet tells its own story. More than 1.4 million people visit the ARTIS Park every year.

THE CHALLENGE

ARTIS has a wealth of current and historical visual material, including video material of animals, plants, microbes, the planetarium, the park, the buildings, the accommodations, events, illustrations, employees, (shop) products and museum objects. The zoo would like to make this rich collection even more accessible and use it for their marketing in order to tell the beautiful stories to the public.

THE WORKOUT

Cooperation

In order to be able to share its rich collection with the public, ARTIS asked Graphit to help implement an image bank. Together we chose WoodWing Assets. Graphit guided ARTIS in setting up the software, tagging digital files and migrating to the new environment. As a result, all employees have access to the digital assets anytime, anywhere, in 1 central place. They therefore spend less time searching for the correct and most up-to-date photos, images and videos. In order to allow the key users to make the best possible use of the platform, our experts have given training to all users to familiarize themselves with this new way of working.

Higher ROI from marketing assets
