NIKE, Inc.’s head office for the EMEA region is located in Hilversum and employs 2,000 people from 70 different countries. All new product launches and campaigns for this region are initiated and implemented from this location.
Four times a year, Nike organises sales events at which the new collections are presented. All sorts of printed material are produced to brief the sales teams, including price lists and brochures. This is a costly and time-consuming process.
Nike chose a digital solution in which the relevant content is distributed via an app on a tablet. All sales staff received a tablet and access to the secure information. Content for the app is created in Adobe InDesign and published to the app four times a year, via a workflow. The workout consisted of:
